EMEA distribution agreement takes VoIP into new markets
London, UK, 10th June 2004: VegaStream, the leading supplier of dedicated business VoIP (Voice over IP) Gateways, today announced a Europe-wide distribution agreement with Vanquish, a leading technology provider to the specialist IT marketplace. Under the terms of the agreement, Vanquish will re-sell and license VegaStream’s products directly to its customers throughout Europe.
Vanquish provides best-of-breed technology and support for VoIP, thin client computing, network QoS, optimisation and e-policy. Using VegaStream’s Vega 50 and Vega 100 VoIP gateways, Vanquish is able to offer its customers the advantages of VoIP – flexibility, lower infrastructure and lower call costs – in a complete best-of-breed package.
“The word coming back from our reseller network is that they wanted a compelling VoIP solution that they could take to their customers,” said Peter Graham, Managing Director, Vanquish. “Most IT networks have large capacity bandwidth and so carrying voice over these networks makes perfect sense for business communications – what was missing was a VoIP solution that could be easily integrated with a wide range of legacy systems. We’re delighted to have signed this distribution agreement with VegaStream and are confident that our reseller network will see real market opportunities for VoIP.”
Richard Bayton, VegaStream’s EMEA Enterprise Channel Manager. “As businesses realize VoIP is about more than ‘cheap voice’ and start to understand that it goes to the heart of effective business communications, so the reseller community is starting to see tangible revenue in VoIP. This European distribution agreement with Vanquish is a significant milestone in VegaStream’s growing channel presence and we excited by prospect of working with them to target new vertical markets.”
