DialPad Dramatically Lowers Rates — Calls to 27 Countries at or Below 3.9¢/min

January 3, 2005

dialpadDialPad announced rate reductions ranging from 27% to 60% in termination rates to 380 destinations around the world, effective immediately.

Dialpad Communications, Inc, an established VoIP provider since 1999, has made a practice of periodically lowering its termination rates, as a way of passing operating profits back to customers.

Because its growth success translates into being able to buy VoIP minutes on more favorable terms, DialPad has been able to continue to fuel its own growth through ever-lower rates, according to the company.

This latest reduction brings savings of over 50% on calls to Vietnam, Portugal and many other destinations to customers. Sample new rates include per-minute charges of 2.9¢ to Rome, Barcelona, Seoul, and Paris, among other destinations. Under Dialpad’s European Discount Plans, rates to Amsterdam, Berlin, London, Madrid, Milan, Paris and Rome now start at 1.7¢/min (1.2 Euro cent/minute) for Dialpad users around the world.

These rates are available to anyone with access to the Internet, whether on broadband or on dialup. Since its inception, DialPad has generated over 300 million calls and 2 billion minutes of VoIP-to-PSTN traffic to and from users in more than 200 countries worldwide.
