Pingtel wants to accelerate SMB adoption of its open-source, native-SIP enterprise platform.
Pingtel Corp announced today its Solution Provider Program designed to extend the reach of its enterprise SIP PBX for Linux into the small and medium business and enterprise markets around the world.
Over 20 solution providers have signed on to the Pingtel program to date. The modular structure of SIPxchange is said to be an advantage in assembling solutions for smaller and medium-size business customers.
The program offers participants direct support from Pingtel, with training, application-specific development, and professional services.
Pingtel’s open source Linux-based subscription model delivers PC-like pricing, whose cost does not grow with number of seats as the business grows, to the enterprise voice communications market.
This approach provides IT resellers with a natural extension to their existing datacenter business, enabling them to deliver pre-integrated solutions.
