Intec Global VoIP to be Supplied by SBC and NTT

intecSBC will supply domestic, and NTT international networking and data, both for five years.

Intec Telecom Systems announced that it has contracted withSBC Communications, Inc and NTT America, Inc for a new global VoIP voice and data network.

Intec’s US headquarters are in Atlanta. SBC will provide an MPLS-based VPN, dedicated Internet access, and CPE support services for all Intec US locations, while NTT will host Intec on its Arcstar MPLS global IP-VPN service across Canada, Europe, and Asia-Pacific.

Intec’s aim is to establish a platform for future VoIP and video applications and capabilities through a managed network solution.

Intec’s business is as a provider of billing, multi-service mediation, and real-time mobile service charging software, through which it already had familiarity and working relationships with the two suppliers.
